As in the days of Noah are you drowning in a flood of doubt, fear, anxiety, financial pressures, relationship turmoil or health issues? Is your nation experiencing global disasters, one after the other? Are the waters rising and the ashes falling from the sky? Does it feel as though there will be no end to your troubles and disasters?
Are you expecting or commanding the end to your troubles and disasters? Are you hopeful and looking to the God who answers and confirms his promises with a rainbow and by fire?
Have you entered the ark of safety that God has provided or instructed you to build? Are you believing that the waters will recede, the ashes will cease to fall and the diseases will disappear?
As the people of God we are called to be a peculiar people. Our peculiarity is seen in our acts of faith. When others are looking for and prophesying doom and gloom, we look to the God who answers our prayers and change our circumstances.
We serve the God of Amos 4:7 who withholds the rain. He sent the rain in one town, but withheld it from another. One field had rain another had none and dried up.
We serve the God of 1 Kings 18 who allows us to confront our enemies. Are you ready to let God show up on your behalf and fight your battles today? Declare today that “As surely as the Lord of Hosts lives, before whom I stand, I will present myself to Ahab (my enemies, my disasters and my diseases) today”
Today we dig a trench around us and our property. We present ourselves as remaining prophets of the Lord. We set up the wood and prepare a sacrifice and we call on the name of the Lord. The God who answers by fire, He is God. We repair our altars of prayer, bible study, worship & fasting which had been torn down.
We rebuild the altar with stones of righteousness. We dig a trench around our altars. We fill our water pots and pour the water of the anointing on the offering and the wood. We pray to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel. Let it be known this day that you are God in our lives and that we are your servants and are doing these things at your command. Answer us Oh God that people will know that you the Lord are God and have turned their hearts back again. Lord let your fire fall and consume all the dust, disaster and disease. May the fire consume the sacrifice, the wood, the stones and the dust. May the water in our trenches be consumed. May our enemies be seized, may none be allowed to escape. May we bring them down to the valley of Kishon and slaughter them there. May we go up, eat and drink and hear the sound of heavy rain. We look seven times for the miracle. We send out the raven and the dove to confirm our faith.
We see the end of the Covid 19 plague, we see the end of the dust falling from the sky. We see the cloud as small as a man’s hand rising from the sea.
We stand today as peculiar people looking to God and expecting the end of the dust, disaster and disease. We live and walk by faith for without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6)

Be encouraged today to expect your miracle in Jesus name. Like Noah we send out the raven who will fly back and forth until the water of our disasters dry up. We also send out the dove of confirmation who will return with messages of peace. May we continue to look for the miracle of dry ground. May we come out of the ark with our loved ones, relatives and animals, and build an altar offering sacrifices of praise and thanksgiving.
